Under IRS Code, Section 179, certain heavy vehicles such as SUVs, pickups, and vans may qualify for a Federal Income Tax deduction. To be eligible for this deduction, the vehicle must meet the following criteria:

• Weigh over 6,000 lbs.

• Placed in service during the current tax year
