INFINITI QX60 and QX80 2024 Tax Deduction Opportunities for Business Owners

Business owners may be able to claim part of the cost of a qualifying INFINITI vehicle as a Federal Income Tax deduction.

Under IRS Code, Section 179, certain heavy vehicles such as SUVs, pickups, and vans may qualify for a Federal Income Tax deduction. To be eligible for this deduction, the vehicle must meet the following criteria:

  • Weigh over 6,000 lbs.
  • Primarily used for business purposes
  • Placed in service during the current tax year

INFINITI models that meet the GVWR requirements:

  • QX60
  • QX80

Eligible business owners can receive a partial deduction and take advantage of bonus depreciation, up to $30,500*, for qualifying vehicles in the 2024 tax year.

 

*Important Note: Retailers should advise clients to consult their CPA or tax professional for specific guidance on applicability of Section 179 to their circumstances, including how much they can deduct.
